Do you need a jolt of self confidence? Would it feel great to begin your day believing you could achieve anything?
Those feelings may be just one yoga pose away. A study, published in Frontiers in Psychology, found yoga poses can affect one’s self esteem and energy level. Participants in the study performed both open postures, like the mountain pose, and closed postures like the eagle pose. The researchers found that both types of poses increased participants feelings of control and confidence.
