Exercise after study improves recall |
Do you have a big presentation coming up? Cramming for the LSAT or the GMAT? Trying to learn some Italian phrases for a glorious trip to Europe? Research suggests you’ll enjoy better memory recall (so you can beautifully order those cannolis) if you follow your study session with some light exercise.
Researchers, whose study was published in Cognitive Research: Principles and Implications, found that women who studied, then engaged in 5 minutes of light exercise had better memory recall than those who studied and remained sedentary afterwards.
Interesting, right? Here are some more interesting findings: 1) Exercising before study had no impact on memory recall 2) This correlation was found among women but NOT among men. ?
We believe you can:
1) Take control of your own health
2) Become pain-free without invasive procedures or pills
3) Deserve to look and feel great in your body every day.
